Final Broadcast Ratings: March 9, 2016

NBC sweeps the Wednesday night ratings, thanks to a mostly repeat filled ABC line up and a very low rated special on CBS. A new-ish/recap two hour episode of THE VOICE grabbed decent numbers, collecting 9.2 million viewers and a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49. It was the #2 overall show of the evening. Following, at 10 PM, was the season premiere of THE CARMICHAEL SHOW, which barely held half of the lead in ratings from THE VOICE.

CBS was all new for the night, with SURVIVOR edging THE VOICE as the #1 show of the evening. But, the VICTORIA'S SECRET SWIMSUIT completely fell flat. More than two-thirds of those watching SURVIVOR at 8 PM, were gone at 9 PM. It was the lowest rated original show of the night and only bet a repeat of THE CARMICHAEL SHOW, at 10:30, for any show from the Big 4 networks.

ABC gave little lead in support for the season finale of AMERICAN CRIME. With just 3.7 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the A18-49 demo, it finished third in its time slot. FOX didn't do any better than ABC, despite airing new episodes of both of its shows.
