CW Weekly Ratings: February 29 - March 4, 2016

It was a down week for The CW, as its top two series, THE FLASH and ARROW, were preempted for other, mostly encore, programming specials. A repeat of THE WORLD DOG AWARDS had only a small fraction of the drawing power THE FLASH bring in on Tuesday nights, collecting just one million viewers and a small 0.2 rating in Adults 18-34. On Wednesday, the GREATEST ANIMAL COMMERCIALS did a little better with total viewership, with 1.5 million, but was just as week in the demos as the dog awards were, on the previous night.

That then placed LEGENDS OF TOMORROW as the top sho for the network, scoring a 0.7 rating in the A18-34 demo and totaling 2.3 million viewers. THE 100 still struggles to hold on to its lead in audience, dropping around 40% in all categories, except the A18-34 demo, which it loses 30%.

For the week, the CW averaged 1.19 million viewers, a 0.33 rating in Adults 18-34, a 0.40 rating in Adults 18-49 and a 0.47 rating in Adults 25-54. We'll see more numbers like these over the next couple of months as encores will begin to be more consistent on the schedule.
