Complete Nielsen Ratings: March 14 - 20, 2016
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #95:
With a combination of new episodes from its regular series and three nights of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, CBS swept the weekly ratings. The network placed six shows in the top 10, including the #1 show of the week, NCIS, with 15.1 million viewers. New series, CRIMINAL MINDS: BEYOND BORDERS secured the #14 spot, with its series premiere. Of the 13 shows in the top 30, only two were from the NCAA Tournament. The strength of those games came on Friday and Saturday nights, when the Demographic ratings are two to three time greater than normal.
ABC took the #2 spot away from NBC, with a solid season finale by THE BACHELOR (#9) and the AFTER THE ROSE special (#12). The network also had a solid NBA game on Saturday night, ranking 40th, but posting a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-49. ABC had nine shows in the top 30, but only two in the top 15.
NBC did place three series in the top 6, but with most scripted programs in encores, it had little to back up its reality show hits. Two editions of THE VOICE and LITTLE BIG SHOTS were the network's only entries in the top 25. CROWDED (#26) and BLINDSPOT(#28) were the only other NBC shows in the top 30.
FOX is still a mess. Only AMERICAN IDOL (#16) and the live musical event, THE PASSION (#24), are the networks only representatives in the top 50. GOTHAM (#55) is the third most watched show of the network, with just 4.0 million.
With an all encore schedule last week, the CW occupied the bottom ten spots of the chart.
