US Box Office Results: February 19 - 21, 2016
DEADPOOL retains the top spots at the box office, with a $55 million take in its second weekend of release. The R rated superhero movie now has a grossed $235 million, in just 10 days and has the second highest gross since Jan 1, 2016, behind STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS.
The new Christian movie, RISEN, has a relatively decent first weekend, collecting $11.8 million in its first three days. That is about half of what GOD'S NOT DEAD and SON OF GOD have pulled in, in recent years.
