CW/CBS crossover event:
We see cross over series events all the time, but rarely does it involve two networks. The CW's THE FLASH and CBS' SUPERGIRL will have a crossover, DC Comics event during the last week of March. Could THE FLASH see six million viewers with the CBS exposure?



CBS/Viacom chairman resigns:
Sumner Redstone has resigned as chairman of both Viacom and CBS Corp. The 90+ year old owns controlling interest in both companies. Stocks for both companies has risen in overnight trading, with Viacom seeing a 10% boost. Les Moonves becomes CBS chairman with the resignation.



New Tony host:
THE LATE, LATE SHOW's James Corden will host this year's Tony Awards event.



TV pilot news:
- CBS has ordered a pilot series based on the 2002 theatrical movie, TRAINING DAY.
- CBS has also commissioned a Dr. Phill scripted seres, titled BULL.
- NBC's comedy pilot, from Amy Poehler, will feature the comedian as director of the episode.
- Syfy ordered Ben Afleck/Matt Damon series INCORPORATED.



WGN cancels drama:
The WGN drama, MANHATTAN, has ended after two season as the cable network cancels the series.



Legendary comedian passes at age 92:
Bob Elliot, of the famed comedian duo "Bob & Ray", passed away at the age of 92. Bob is the father of comedic actor, Chris Elliot.
