Primetime Cable Ratings: February 3, 2016

Politics were at the forefront of cable TV on Wednesday as the Democratic party held a town hall event before next week's New Hampshire primary. The event itself, on CNN, drew 2.7 million viewers and ranked 5th over all. that is down about 600,000 viewers from last week;s Iowa Town hall, but the A81-49 demographic remained at a 0.7 rating.

Topping the chart was FOX NEWS, with THE O'REILLY FACTOR ranking #1, with 3.4 million viewers. THE KELLY FILE was 3rd on the night, pulling in 2.8 million viewers. For the night, FOX News averaged 2.7 million viewers from 8 to 10 PM.

That #2 spot was won by AMERICAN PICKERS, over on History. The reality series hauled in 2.8 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in the A18-49 demo. It has been a while since the series was at or near the top of the daily chart.
