Final Broadcast Ratings: February 16, 2016
CBS wins the Tuesday night, thanks to strong numbers from NCIS and its spin-off series, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS. Both shows were the two most watched programs and posted the best numbers in both the A18-49 and A25-54 demographics.
NBC was the number two network on the night, but all three programs saw significant drops in the ratings, from last week's numbers. The two CHICAGO series dropped an average two tenths of a point in the A18-49 and A25-54 demographics and a tenth of a point in the A18-34 demo. Viewership for both was also down roughly a half a million viewers. HOLLYWOOD GAME NIGHT placed 5th in it time slot in the three demos and fourth in total viewers.
The CW beat both FOX and ABC, mainly on the strong numbers from THE FLASH. The second year series was #1 in the A18-34 demo and #5 in the A18-49 demo. The series was mostly flat, week-to-week, except in the A18-49 demo, where it lost 20%. iZOMBIE only held about one-third of its lead in audience.
FOX edged ABC for the #4 network of the night, but both networks struggled to draw viewers. Only the 8 PM comedies, from both networks, did anything worth noting. FRESH OFF THE BOAT edged NEW GIRL, head-to-head.
