Primetime Cable Ratings: December 31, 2015
Only eleven cable programs drew over one million viewers on New Year's Eve night, with a large majority of those viewers tuning into the two semi-final games of the College Football Playoffs, on ESPN, grabbing between 15-19 million viewers. The games were down over 10 million viewers, from last year's games, with the early game down nearly 50%.
NYE with Anderson Cooper drew the same number of viewers as last year's telecast, with 1.6 million, but the A18-49 demographic dropped 33% from a 0.6 to a 0.4 rating.
