Final Broadcast Ratings: January 26, 2016

NBC and CBS split leadership on Tuesday night, with CBS getting the most viewers, despite an all encore line up, and NBC taking the three reported demographic ratings. For NBC, it had the two best rated programs in the A18-49 demographic, in CHICAGO MED and CHICAGO FIRE. The two dramas were also in the top five of most watched programs of the night.

ABC gave us the season premiere of PRIMETIME: WHAT WOULD YOU DO? to less than spectacular numbers. Just 2.6 million viewers tuned in at 10 p.m., ranking a distant third in its time slot. Leading into PRIMETIME, week two of AGENT CARTER failed to draw three million viewers. Sadly, that is only slightly off its two hour season premiere, from last week.

FOX was all original on the night, but it could not do better than the CW. NEW GIRL/GRANDFATHERED lost to THE FLASH, in every category, while BROOKLYN 9-9 and THE GRINDER barely edges an encore of LEGENDS OF TOMORROW.

For the CW, THE FLASH tied for the third best A18-49 demo, with a 1.4 rating, and tied for the night's best A18-34 demo, with a 1.2 rating.
