Final Broadcast Ratings: January 25, 20165
FOX has a solid night with the second X-FILES episode and the series premiere of LUCIFER. The X-FILES reboot won its 8 p.m. time slot, drawing 9.7 million viewers and a 3.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down from Sunday night's premiere, but that had a huge NFL game as its lead in.
The LUCIFER series premiere actually did relatively well, collecting 7.2 million viewers and a 2.4 rating in the A18-49 demo. That is a 25% decline from its X-FILE lead in, but far better than most premiere FOX has had this season.
CBS was the most watched network of the night and did not see much of a decline because of the life over at FOX. SUPERGIRL held all its A18-49 demo rating, from last week, and SCORPION only lost 5%. NCIS: LA was down a tenth in the demo.
ABC was #2 in the demo ratings, seeing a lift both the A18-34 and A18-49 demographics.
NBC was a distant fourth place, with both comedies down significantly from last week. SUPERSTORE was down 20% in the A18-49 demo and lost 800,000 total viewers. TELENOVELA was off by 600k in total viewers and two tenths in the A18-49 demo.
The CW had its winter premieres for CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND and JANE THE VIRGIN and they are down 20-25 percent from recent encores of PENN & TELLER and WHOSE LINE.
