Ratings Review: TALKING DEAD (Season Five - Fall 2015)

AMC may not appreciate what TALKING DEAD brings to the network. Only three of the eight episodes airs at its regular start time of 10:00 p.m. Two episodes were delayed to 10:30 because of special 90 minute episodes of TWD, but the last three weeks the series was bumped back to 11:00 p.m. to let INTO THE BADLANDS get the great lead in of the hit drama. The ratings did suffer, but the numbers are still bet than most series get in primetime.

The Live +SD ratings for TALKING DEAD averaged 4.35 million viewers, a 1.9 rating in Adults 18-34, a 2.2 rating in Adults 18-49 and a 2.3 rating in Adults 25-54.

The DVR ratings were hard to come by, especially after the move to 11 p.m., but the series still added well over two million viewers and at least a 0.6 in the A18-49 demo, by the third day after an episode premiere.

The series returns on February 14 and will be back in its regular time slot of 10:00 p.m..
