Ratings Review: THE PLAYER (Season One)

THE PLAYER was my choice for the first series to be cancelled during the 2015-16 TV season. It would have won that title had ABC not given us WICKED CITY for a quick 3 week run.

In the Live+SD ratings, THE PLAYER averaged 3.99 million viewers, a 0.4 rating in Adults 18-34, a 0.8 in Adults 18-49, and a 1.1 rating in Adults 25-54.

In the Live+3 DVR ratings, the series would add about two million viewers and 0.6 points to the A18-49 demographic. By the Live+7 ratings, the total averages were 6.16 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49.
