Preliminary Ratings: Monday 12/21/2015

The Monday night before Christmas was dominated by repeats, except on ABC. The network closed out its limited run holiday series, THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT and THE GREAT HOLIDAY BAKING SHOW. These two shows did no better than the encore programming on CBS and NBC. All three nets posted a sub-one in the A18-34 demo, a low in in the A18-49 demo and a mid one in the A25-54 demo.

CBS had the top rated show of the night, a repeat of THE BIG BANG THEORY, grabbing 8.5 million and a 1.8 rating in the A18-49 demo.

FOX and the CW battled out for the bottom spot, posting near identical numbers on the night. For the CW, its one of the better rated Monday nights of the season, with two encore PENN & TELLER: FOOL US episodes.
