It was another weekly sweep for the NBC late night programs, as THE TONIGHT SHOW and LATE NIGHT easily take their respective time slots. LATE NIGHT was particularly strong this week, nearly matching the A18-49 demographic that JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE and THE LATE SHOW posted in the earlier, time slot.
After a competitive first few months for the new THE LATE LATE SHOW, with James Corden, the CBS talk show has fallen to a more consistent 3rd place finish, the last few weeks. I don't see CBS doing anything before the end of the regular TV season, but how long will the network go before they feel the need to bring in a new host to try and be competitive in the 12:30 time slot?
CONAN wains the late night talk show rating, edging THE DAILY SHOW in both viewers and in the A18-49 demographic. This was the week that featured CONAN's trip to Armenia, which did well in the ratings, on Novemebr 17th.
