Final Broadcast Ratings: December 7, 2015

It may be December, but the networks, other than the CW, are programming new content during the holiday season. ABC gave us the third season of its holiday series, THE GREAT CHRISTMAS LIGHT FIGHT, to decent numbers, on Monday night. The reality series posted 5.1 million viewers and a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49. That is down 1.7 million viewers and 30% in the demo, from 2014's premiere episode.

NBC gave us a sneak peek at the new sitcom, TELENOVELA. The premiere episode collected just 5.3 million viewers and a 1.4 demo rating, which is down from last week's SUPERSTORE sneak peek of 7.2 million viewers and a 2.0 demo rating. But, we'll see how both will perform, once they hit their regular time slots, without THE VOICE as a lead in.

CBS gave us original episodes of their three series, doing relatively solid, placing second on the night. SUPER GIRL was down, slightly, from last week's numbers, but it and SCORPION were second in their respective time slots. NCIS: LA won the 10:00 p.m. hour.

FOX was a distant fourth place, with its two-hour special, TV'S FUNNIEST ANIMATED STARS. Overall, it was only able to beat the two encore shows THE cw aired on the night.
