With two primetime NFL games in the same week, NBC had an easy time sweeping the weekly ratings. Between the two games and related football studio shows, NBC took four of the top five spots and 6 of the top 11, all with NFL programming. The network added five more spots to its list of top 30 shows, including THE VOICE at #14 and #15.
CBS was a solid second place, across the board, with a solid offering of its regular shows, plus an hour of NFL overrun, at #2. Every CBS program of the week was included in the top 50 shows, except one Saturday night Christmas special, STORY OF SANTA CLAUSE (#58).
ABC's top programs, two nights of DANCING WITH THE STARS (#8 and #9), were the networks only entries in the top 20, and A CHARLIE BROWN THANKSGIVING (#24) is the only addition for a top 30 showing.
Over on FOX, the struggles continue. EMPIRE failed to make the top 10, finishing in the #17 spot, and only the Saturday night college football game (#28) made the top 40. a vast majority of the networks program placed 64th, or worse, for the week.
