Complete Nielsen Ratings: Nov. 30 - Dec. 6, 2015
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #96:
FOX and the CW see their numbers rise, while ABC, CBS and NBC see their ratings drop, week-to-week. NBC still hangs on as the #1 network of the week, even with a depressed Sunday night game. FOX battled CBS for the #2 spot, thanks two football on both Saturday and Sunday nights. ABC, with no DANCING WITH THE STARS falls to the #4 spot.
NBC takes five of the top 10, including THE WIZ LIVE! at the #9 position. The annual live musical performance did a lot better than last year's PEATER PAN LIVE, drawing 11.5 million viewers and a solid 3.4 rating in Adults 18-49. In all, NBC had 10 shows within the top 30.
CBS did have Thursday Night Football (#3) to help it stay competitive, taking second place in three of the four reported categories. It lead all networks with 13 programs in the top 30, but all but football were below the top 10.
FOX benefited with a strong showing from its Big Ten Football Championship coverage (#12), which collected 9.8 million viewers, on a Saturday night. It also had a full hour of NFL overrun on Sunday, which is the most watched primetime program of the week. Unfortunately, FOX had little else to help it in the ratings. Only EMPIRE made the top 40, as a regular series.
