Complete Nielsen Ratings: December 7 - 13, 2015
The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #91:
NBC sweeps the weekly ratings on a strong SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME, a solid showing from a rare network TV movie and, of course, THE VOICE. All the networks were down, but NBC still has its big guns playing late in the season.
NBC had three of the top five, six of the top 10 and nine of the top 30 shows, in this week's chart. CHICAGO MED still looks to be a solid contender, ranking as the highest rated regular series for the network, at #16.
CBS, without any big gun programming, still came in second place. The network placed 16 programs in the top 30, including repeats of its two NCIS Series, on Tuesday night. ELEMENTARY (#44) was the only non-Saturday night program that failed to rank 40th, or better, for the network. The VICTORIA'S SECRET FASHION SHOW (#32) was not watched by the masses, but did strong numbers in the younger demos, ranking 6th in the A18-34 demo, the highest rated show that was not covering the NFL.
FOX topped ABC, with NFL overrun, on Sunday night, and a good showing from THE SIMPSONS, that followed the game. The network only had two entries in the top 30, NFL game and THE OT. It also had the worst rated show of the week, an encore of GOTHAM, on Saturday night. It is a rare feat to have the CW not claim the bottom spot, even with December encores included.
ABC's Comedies were the only programs that did well this week, with most of its better performing shows on winter hiatus. MODERN FAMILY was the highest rated show for ABC, ranking 24th, one of just three shows in the top 30.
The CW did place THE FLASH in the top 30 of the A18-34 demo and ARROW ranked 32nd in the younger age group.
