WWE SMACKDOWN is moving from SyFy to sister network USA on January 7, 2016.
Amazon picks up SNEAKY PETE:
Amazon Prime has picked up the Giovani Ribisi series, SNEAKY PETE, for 2016 launch.
More Red Nose:
NBC will bring back RED NOSE DAY, premiring on May 26, 2016.
Jon Stewart signs with HBO:
The former DAILY SHOW host has signed a four year exclusive pact with HBO to develop short form digital content, plus future TV and film opportunities.
TimeWarner holding back digital content deals:
CEO Jeff Bewkes announced that Time Warner withhold/delate content licensing of its rights from subscription streaming services, like Netflix and Hulu. Advertising and subscriber declines are cited for the decision as streaming outlets are taking viewers away from commercial ads and cable subscription revenue streams.
Verizon's Go90 gets NBA deal:
In a mulit-year deal, Verizon has become the official wireless provider to the league and exclusive content for its Go90 mobile video service. highlights, live game streaming and new series are planed as part of the deal.
CBS All-Access to go ad free?:
CEO LEs Moonves told investors that it is very possible that CBS could set a second tier of pricing, at $10 per month, for ad-free subscriptions.
ANTM not dead yet?:
The long running CW reality series, AMEICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL may find new life on a cable network, according to Deadline.
Four NBC series get one more episode:
NBC has given an order of 23 episodes to BLINDSPOT, CHICAGO FIRE, CHICAGO PD and LAW & ORDER: SVU, for this season.
