First cancelation of the season:
It took nearly two full months, but the first official cancellation of the TV season happened on ABC. the network aked super-low rated drama, WICKED CITY, after just three episodes. its last airing drew just 1.7 million viewers and was the lowest rated broadcast program of the night.

CBS tags Colbert for post-Super Bowl gig:
Instead of the usual primetime series following the Super Bowl, CBS has announced that THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT will occupy the post-Super Bowl time slot. The show will air LIVE, coast to coast.
FOX orders hybrid comedy:
FOX has given a series order to SON OF ZORN, a live action/animated comedy, for the 2016-17 season.

FX has renewed the anthology series AMERICAN HORROR STORY for a sixth season.
TBS gets 1-800:
TBS is picking up the new comedy 1-800, starring Angela Kinsey (THE OFFICE). No premiere date was announced.
