Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 11/08/15

SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL dominates the broadcast ratings, on Sunday night, as the Eagles vs Cowboys game commanded 21 million viewers and a 7.6 rating in Adults 18-49, based on preliminary numbers. That is 5% last week's preliminary ratings, which featured two 7-0 teams, Denver & Green Bay. The finals ratings should place the game within the top 5 SNG games of the season.

CBS also used football to be a solid second place on the night. The late afternoon game overrun was the most watched program in primetime, with 23.7 million viewers. The regular primetime line up benefited with the lead in, in the first two hours, but it hurt ratings for the last two hours. CSI: CYBER only managed a 0.8 rating in the A18-49 demo, with its 10:35 PM start.

The numbers on FOX are off, especially in the 7 PM hour, with a few markets airing local coverage of NFL games. The network should fall behind ABC when the finals are released.

QUANTICO is looking like a dying series instead of the hot freshman series it started of being. The numbers are slightly up from last week, but that was a season low night for the drama.
