- CBS has a fall schedule change
- SyFy cancels sophomore series
- ABC hands out first full season orders
- CW sets end dates for two series
In a surprised movie, CBS has changed what series will air during the Thursday, 9:30 PM slot, once THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL ends at the end of the month. ANGEL FROM HELL is out and will now premiere in February of 2016. In its place, 2 BROKE GIRLS will air in the slot, starting on November 12, 2015.
No more ANTM:
Tyra Banks and The CW confirm that the current season of AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL will be the last. The series finale is set for December 4.
CBS orders Kevin James Comedy:
It has been nine years since Kevin James (KING OF QUEENS) has worked a regular series but he is returning to CBS in a new sitcom. The untitled comedy will feature James as a recently retired cop who has a wife and three kids. No timetable has been set for the new series.
More IMPRACTICAL JOKERS:
TruTV has ordered a fifth season consisting of 26 episodes of the comedy series.
SyFy cancels veteran series:
The sophomore series, DOMINION, has been cancelled by SyFy.
ABC hands out full season orders:
Both FRESH OFF THE BOAT and QUANTICO have been given full season orders by ABC.
BEAUTY & THE BEAST end date set:
The CW recently renewed low rated summer drama BEAUTY & THE BEAST, but the 2016 season, its fourth, will be the last season.
More Tiny:
FYI has added a third series to its TINY HOUSE franchise. Premiering on November 21, TINY HOUSE WORLD will look at the tiny house trend around the world. Sixteen episodes have been ordered.
