Primetime Cable Ratings: October 7, 2015

It was the National League's turn to play their Wild Card game and the ratings are even better than Tuesday night. The Cubs vs pirates matchup drew 8.3 million viewers and a 2.6 rating in Adults 18-49. That is about 700k better than the AL game and three tenths better in the A18-49 demo. This could be a strong post season for Baseball, in the TV ratings.

AMERICAN HORROR STORY kicked off its fifth season, collecting 5.8 million viewers and a solid 3.0 demo rating. that is down, slightly, from last season's opener by 300k in viewers and a tenth of a point in the demo.
