Preliminary Ratings: Tuesday 10/06/15

With the first MLB Wild Card Game (Yankees vs Astros) taking place over on ESPN, most shows were down on Tuesday night. The hardest hit was NBC as THE VOICE took a five million viewer drop and the A18-49 demo lost 1.5 points. BEST TINE EVER shaw 1.3 million viewers shed away, along with 0/6 points in the A25-54 demo.

CBS was mostly steady, week-to-week, and won the night in viewers and in the A25-54 demo, and nearly tied NBC in the A18-49 demo. LIMITLESS saw the biggest drop, on CBS, down two tenths of a point in both the A18-49 and A25-54 demo.

The CW had its first season premieres of the fall, with THE FLASH and iZOMBIE kicking it off. THE FLASH grabbed 3.4 million viewers and a 1.4 rating in the A18-49 demo. That is significantly down from last season's series premiere, but is only slightly down from May's season finale ratings. iZOMBIE collected 1.7 million viewers and a 0.7 score in the A18-49 ratings, up from its June season finale.

THE MUPPETS shine was quickly worn off. Premiering as the strongest ABC show of the night, THE MUPPETS has quickly fell below FRESH OFF THE BOAT and barely staying with SHIELD. The 4.8 million viewers is a drop of 4.2 million from the premiere and the 1.6 rating in the A18-49 demo is off 1.3 points. At this rate, you have to wonder if a back nine will get ordered.

Week two of the new FOX Tuesday night too a big hit. The A18-49 demos fell from a mid-one to a low-one and viewership dropped about 1.5 million viewers. FOX tied The CW in both he A18-34 and A18-49 demographics and just barely above in the A25-54.
