Preliminary Ratings: Sunday 10/18/15

With a very compelling matchup, SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL rebounded nicely, from last week's season low. The Colts vs Patriots matchup collected 20.9 million viewers and a solid 7.5 rating in Adults 18-49. That is up nearly five million viewers and 2.7 points in the A18-49 demo, over last week's ratings.

CBS had a strong average, thanks to an hour of overrun of its national late afternoon game. 60 MINUTES did benefit from the nice lead in, but by 9 p.m., the halo effect had ended. No CSI: CYBER as it started sometime after 11 p.m., if at all.

ABC had a Jekyll & Hyde night, with AFV and BLOOD AND OIL pulling in bad numbers, while OUAT and QUANTICO pulled in relatively decent numbers.

FOX preempted FAMILY GUY for a new episode of BOB'S BURGERS and the ratings reflect the change. the 9 p.m. hour sank to a season low and even BROOKLYN NINE-NINE felt the affect of not having viewers stick around for the hit animated comedy. It looks like another season of just 16 episodes of FAMILY GUY, on FOX.
