Final Broadcast Ratings: October 2, 105

DR. KEN was the lone series/season premiere of Friday night and it did relatively well. Hauling in 6.7 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49, it grew out of its LAST MAN STANDING lead in, something that has not happened in quite a while, in the time slot. That also out performs last year's CRISTELA, in the same time slot, by 15% in the demo and a few hundred thousand in total viewers. DR. KEN helped ABC win the night in both the A18-34 and A18-49 demographics.

Over on the CW, summer series MASTERS OF ILLUSION closed out its season, bringing in 1.3 million viewers and a 0.3 rating in Adults 18-49. That is near its season average and provided a good lead in to the relocated AMERICA'S NEXT TOP MODEL, at 9 p.m.

CBS was the most watched network and tops in the A25-54 demo, with a 1.9 average. All three series rose in totala viewers, week-to-week, but remained flat in the A18-49 demo.

FOX aired nothing but encores and NBC's DATE LINE did average numbers from 9 to 11 p.m.
