The full Nielsen rankings and ratings from #1 to #94:
All four of the Big 4 networks saw their ratings increase, week-to-week, but NBC's grew just a little bit more. The peacock network won the young demographic categories, with CBS right behind, and took second in total viewers and households. CBS was the most watched network in viewers and households.
CBS dominated the top 20, taking 13 spots, including six of the top seven. The network also had a total of 18 programs in the top 30. Only the three Saturday programs failed to rank 50th or better.
NBC's growth was directly related to a much better SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL game and better ratings. Week to week, SNF gained 3.2 million viewers and the A18-49 demo gained 1.3 points. NBC placed six shows in the top 30, with the usual suspect making the chart. CHICAGO FIRE snuck in at #28, with 7.4 million viewers.
ABC did better, but is still struggling. only DANCING WITH THE STARS (#11) made the top 20 and the network only had five shows in the top 30. Its once hit freshman series, QUANTICO, has slipped, ranking just 47th on the week.
FOX is still doing poor in the ratings. Only EMPIRE (#8) made the top 35 and it is feeling major erosion in the ratings, itself. Since the premiere, EMPIRE has lost four million viewers and two full points in the A18-49 demo. the network has multiple problems on multiple nights. Plus, it doesn't help when you use two nights for nothing but encores.
