Top 100 Primetime Cable: September 14 - 20, 2015

Football make take up most of the top 10 spots of this weeks cable chart, but it was the second GOP Presidential Debate, on CNN, that attracted the most viewers. The debate commanded a strong 23.1 million viewers and a 4.9 rating n Adults 18-49, posting the best numbers for CNN in nearly 30 years. The last time CNN had anything close to those numbers was a Al Gore/Ross Perot debate, in the mid 90's

Three NFL games and two college games all made the top 10 this week. ESPN's MNF doubleheaders produced the week's #2 and #3 shows and they were also the top two programs in the A18-49 ratings, topping the debate. The third NFL game was the premiere of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL, on The NFL Network, a simulcast of the CBS game.

FEAR THE WALKING DEAD looked relatively normal this week, falling to the #6 spot, with 6.6 million viewers. It was the week's highest rated series and #3 in the demo ratings.

At the #24 spot is this week's top reality series, as MOUNTAIN MEN drew 2.4 million viewers. LOVE & HIP HOP HOLLYWOOD feel al the way down to the #34 spot.
