Ratings Review: THE ASTRONAUT WIVES CLUB (Season One)

The freshman summer series THE ASTRONAUT WIVES CLUB, based on a book of the same name, was an ambitious series hoping to tell the story of the "Right Stuff" astronauts (the Mercury 7 astronauts), from the perspective of the wives. Based on the ratings, the results and receptions are mixed.

The Live+SD ratings average for THE ASTRONAUT WIVES CLUB are 4.12 million viewers, a 0.5 rating in Adults 18-34, a 0.8 rating in Adults 18-49 and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-34. Not horrible, by today's standards, but not exactly good either.

The Live+3 ratings showed viewership grow by one million viewers and the A18-49 demo jump by 25%. The Live+7 ratings brought the per episode averages to a total of 5.32 million viewers (+29%) and a 1.1 rating (+38%) in Adults 18-49. Again, not bad, but not good either.
