It only took one day for the late night talk wars to return back to normal. THE TONIGHT SHOW returned to the top spot, grabbing over four million viewers, about 10% better then night two of the new LATE SHOW. The margin of victory was wider in the A18-49 demographic as THE TONIGHT SHOW did 50% better than the LATE SHOW's rating.
LATE SHOW's drop was nearly 50%, day-to-day, with about 3 million viewers clicking away from CBS. The affect was felt through the 12:30 shows as the LATE LATE SHOW lost 800,000 viewers, from its total on Tuesday night.
