L+3 Broadcast Ratings: September 21, 2015

NBC claims the top show in the L+3 ratings for the first night of the 2015-16 TV season, as BLINDSPOT adds an additional 4.6 million viewers and grows 1.4 points in the A18-49 demographic. That brings the viewing audience of the series premiere to 15.2 million and an A18-49 rating of a 4.5.

THE BIG BANG THEORY was the most watched and top demo getter of the night as its total audience now sits at 22.5 million viewers and a 6.4 demo rating. However, disappointing L3 numbers for LIFE IN PIECES, adding just 1.6 million, is not a good sign that audiences are accepting of the new comedy.

CASTL claimed the biggest growth in the A18-49 demo, with a 58% jump. But, it had a smaller number to start, making the seven tenths growth look better than what it really is. BIG BANG had the best jump with an additional 1.7 points added to its demo rating.
