Final Broadcast Ratings: September 22, 2015
Night two of the 2015-16 season was again won by NBC, with another two hours of THE VOICE and week two of BTE/NPH. THE VOICE hauled in12.4 million viewers and a 3.5 rating in Adults 18-49, about even with Monday night's telecast. BEST TIME EVER was down in total viewership, but saw over 15% growth in the A18-49 demographic and 25% growth in the A18-34 demo.
THE MUPPETS was the nights best series premiere, topping both SCREAM QUEENS and LIMITLESS. The new family comedy brought in 9.0 million viewers and a 2.9 rating in Adults 18-49. it was the #2 show during the 8 p.m. hour, behind THE VOICE. It was also ABC's top program of the night, in all three demographics.
LIMITLESS was the most watched new series and won the 10 p.m. hour. it did slightly improve the year-to-year ratings as 2014 season premiere of PERSON OF INTEREST only drew a 1.7 rating in the A18-49 demo.
Although only four million viewers tuned into the premiere of SCREAM QUEENS, it is tons better than any of the new FOX shows, last fall and improved the year-to-year numbers for Tuesday night.
Other premiere numbers;
NCIS was near even in total viewers but down 0.4 points in the A18-49 demo, from last year's premiere. NCIS: NO was off close to 5 million viewers and 0.8 points in the demo. FRESH OFF THE BOAT was slightly up from its series premiere, this past February.
