Final Broadcast Ratings: September 2, 2015
CBS and NBC were neck-and-neck in the Wednesday ratings, with NBC getting the edge in each of the reported categories. AMERICA'S GOT TALENT was the most watched program of the night, drawing 9.3 million viewers, and was the #2 show of the night in the age demographic categories. THE CARMICHAEL SHOW, in its second week of back-to-back episodes, held steady in total viewers and the A18-34 demo rating, while seeing growth in the A18-49 and A25-54 demo. LAST COMIC STANDING was flat from the previous week.
BIG BROTHER was the #1 show in all three age demo categories and was the #2 show in total viewers. The edition was down a notch from last Wednesday's episode, in the three demo ratings, but held steady in total viewers. EXTANT, not doing any better than a repeat episode on any network, is just buying its time before the end of the season/series.
Speaking of finales, CELEBRITY WIFE SWAP closed out a rather lackluster 2015 season. It was usually the #3 show in its time slot and was consistently out performed by the four sitcoms that preceded it. We'll see if ABC renews the series, but did nothing to convince the network to do so.
Both FOX series saw growth over last week's numbers, with HOME FREE looking to post its best numbers of the series.
