Final Broadcast Ratings: September 17, 2015

The season premiere of THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL helped CBS sweep the night in the ratings, as the networked averaged 19.1 million viewers and a 6.7 rating in the A18-49 demographic. The game itself pulled in 21.1 million and a 7.5 rating in the A18-49 demo. That is slightly above last year's first game, which hauled in 20.8 million viewers and a 7.5 demo.

NBC coasted to a second place finish with some magic. AGT winner, MAT FRANCO covered two hours of primetime, pulling relatively decent numbers, including a 1.4 in the A25-54 demographic. The Jeff Dunham comedy special that preceded it brought in 1.8 million more viewers.

ABC, FOX and The CW all aired encore programming, as all nests are readying for the start of the 2015-16 TV season, just three days away.
