Final Broadcast Ratings: September 13, 2015
NFL dominates the Sunday night ratings, with NBC's SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL easily sweeping the night for the network. The first SNF game drew 26.8 million viewers and demographic ratings between a nine and an eleven. Compared to last year's first SNF game, is up over three million viewers and about a full point in the A18-49 demo.
CBS also got a bump of NFL ratings, with about a half an hour of overrun from the late afternoon games. Close to twenty million viewers bleed into primetime, and pushed 60 Minutes' ratings up about three times is normal, summer demo ratings. But, the affect was not felt beyond 8:30 as BIG BROTHER was on par with its seasonal average and the drama encores had their usual poor numbers.
ABC's coverage of the 2015 MISS AMERICA pageant did decent numbers, considering it had to compete with NFL football on NBC, Men' US Open Tennis Championship match on ESPN and the MLB Game on ESPN2. The 7.1 million viewers and 1.5 demo rating are near last year's ratings, but are down about 15% in the A18-49 demo.
FOX was uncompetitive with an all repeat lineup.
