Fueled by NFL football preseason game, CBNS and NBC separate themselves from the rest of the pack, splitting leadership for the week. NBC had the better time slot for the NFL, drawing 6.5 million viewers for its Sunday night matchup. CBS' Saturday night game only drew 4.9 million viewers, and ranked 23rd overall.
NBC took the A18-49 demographic and tied CBS in the A25-54 demo, with AMERICA'S GOT TALENT taking the top two spots of the week, in total viewers. The Tuesday night edition was also #1 in the A18-49 demographic. NBC posted three shows in the top ten and a total of eight programs in the top 30.
CBS was #1 in viewership, households and tied NBC in that A25-54 demo. It placed seven program in the top ten, plus another nine in the top 30. only four of its shows failed to make the top 30, with the remaining four programs placing above the #45 mark.
ABC was relatively flat, week-to-week, and failed to push a single program into the top 10. BACHELOR IN PARADISE was the networks top show, ranking 14th, with 5.6 million viewers. It was just one of the four shows the network managed to get into the top 30.
FOX was its usual 4th place, with NFL overrun (#17) doing the best numbers for the network. That and MASTERCHEF (#25) were FOX's only two programs in the top 50.
The CW is puttering along, pulling the same numbers it has for the past moth, or more. PENN & TELLER: FOOL US was the most watched program on the net, getting 1.9 million viewers.
