Premiere League on USA:
NBCU is now scheduling Premiere League soccer matches on the USA Network, starting this Saturday night, at 10 a.m. In total, USA will air over 40 matches, along with streaming games on NBC Sports Live Extra.
FX orders comedy series:
FX has ordered 10 episode of the new comedy series, BETTER THINGS, by and starring Pamela Adion and produced by Louis C.K.
Also from FX:
The network has renewed the drama series THE STRAIN for a third season.
FXX Orders one, inherits one:
FXX has picked up the animated comedy CASSIUS AND CLAY for 10 episodes in 2016. The network also is the new home of the veteran animated series ARCHER, starting with season seven.
EMPIRE Spinoff:
With few details available, Lee Daniels believes there will be a spin-off from the new hit series, EMPIRE, possibly within the next year. Current possibility is a "prequel," focusing on a young version of the Cookie character.
