Ratings Review: TRUE DETECTIVE (Season Two)

HBO is not immune to the Sophomore Slump, as season two of TRUE DETECTIVE did not live up to the reputation season one had set.  Both ratings and opinion of the 2015 episodes were both down from the lively buzz and viewership the 2014 episodes created.

In the Live +SD ratings, TRUE DETECTIVE averaged 2.61 million viewers, a 1.0 in Adults 18-34, a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-49 and a 1.3 rating in Adults 25-54.

The Live+3 ratings saw viewership grow by 1.1 million viewers and the A18-49 demographic add 0.4 ratings points. The Live+7 ratings brought the total averages to 4.1 million viewers (+59%) and a A18-49 rating to a 1.7 score (+42%).
