Ratings Review: PENNY DREDFUL (Season Two)
As far as the ratings are concerned, nothing changed in season two of PENNY DREADFUL. The series still continues to languish in the 500 to 700 thousand range, in total viewers, and a demo rating hovering around a 0.2, or about 250,000 people. Very typical for a Showtime series, well... Maybe a little better than the network average.In the Live+SD ratings, PENNY DREADFUL averaged 610,000 viewers and an A18-49 demographic rating of a 0.2. only three of the ten episode managed to score a demo rating of a 0.3, instead of a 0.2.
The Live+7 ratings show little gains, with the A18-49 ratings getting just 0.2 more points, but that is double its L+SD number. The series will be back for a third season, but with one less episode (9) ordered.
