Ratings Review: MELISSA & JOEY (Season Four - Summer 2015)

After 104 episodes, the ABC Family sitcom, MELISSA & JOEY ends its four season run. The ratings may not have been strong, at the end of the run, but you have to say that the series was a success for ABC Family.

In the Live+SD ratings, MELISSA & JOEY averaged just 710,000 viewers, a 0.4 rating in the A18-34 demo, a 0.3 rating in the A18-49 demo and a 0.3 rating in the A25-54 demo. Obviously, younger viewers, those 12-34, were the core of the audience, but as they got older and left the series, they were not replaced by younger kids entering the demographic.

The DVR numbers were sparse, but it does look as if the low Same Day numbers may have been doubled by the 7th day of the ratings window.
