Ratings Review: THE COMEDIANS (Season One)

THE COMEDIANS has to be a candidate as one of the most heavily hyped, failures, this 2014-15 TV season. Everywhere you watched TV, during the first few months of 2015, there was a commercial or promo for THE COMEDIANS. Then to have the series average less than a half a million viewers, including just 300k for an early June episode. Although there are other FX series doing just as bad, or worse, the network had no choice but to cancel the series after the initial 13 episode.

For the season, THE COMEDIANS averaged just 490,000 viewers and a 0.2 rating in Adults 18-49. Like most very low rated series, the DVR ratings, my double up the audience, but that is still a very low number.
