Ratings Review: CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD (Summer 2015)

Who would have guessed that a new version of a primetime edition of CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD would be the biggest new hit of the summer of 2015? What makes the strong ratings more amazing is the fact that it aired on Sundays at 8 p.m., when most people are still enjoying the warm weather, outdoors.

In the Live+SD ratings, CELEBRITY FAMILY FEUD averaged 8.38 million viewers, a 1.2 rating in Adults 18-34, a 2.0 rating in Adults 18-49 and a 2.6 rating in Adults 25-54.

The Live+3 ratings added 800,000 viewers to the average, plus the A18-49 demo rose by three tenths of a point. The Live +& ratings brought the totals to an average of 9.35 million viewers (+12%) and a 2.4 rating (+20%) in the A18-49 demo. it is a shame ABC only ordered six episodes of the series, but I expect a full summer order to be made for 2016.
