Primetime Cable Ratings: August 5, 2015

It has been a while since AMERICAN PICKERS was on top of a nightly cable chart, but the veteran reality series was the most watched cable program, on Wednesday night, with over 2.9 million viewers. The series added 150,000 viewers and one tenth of a ratings point, over last week's episode, when it was the #2 show of the night.

The eve of the Republican debates saw all three FOX News programs make the top 15. THE O'REILLY FACTOR (#2), THE KELLY FILE (#6) and HANNITY (#13) averaged 2.4 million viewers.

THE BIG BANG THEORY reruns, on TBS, placed four of the six episodes within the top 10. Between the hours of 9 to 11 p.m., TBS averaged 2.5 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in Adults 18-49.

There were q few season/series finales on the night, lead by THE GAME, at #14. The long running series closed out with 1.8 million viewers and a 0.7 demo rating.
