Primetime Cable Ratings: August 24, 2015

Football ruled Monday Night as the ESPN preseason game collected 4.2 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in Adults 18-49. That is up over 20%, in the A18-49 demo, from Saturday's ESPN game. The first Regular season MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME is set for September 14, with the Eagles vs Falcons starting the traditional week one MNF doubleheader.

LOVE & HIP HOP may have been 900,000 viewers behind the NFL game, but it topped ESPN in the A18-49 ratings, posting a 1.7 score. LHH was just the 6th most watched show of the evening, and #1 in the demo ratings.

The season finale of MURDER IN THE FIRST did as expected, generating 1.8 million viewers, but just a 0.3 rating in the A18-49 demo.
