Preliminary Ratings: Monday 08/03/15

With THE BACHELORETTE, on ABC, done for the year, NBC had an easy time sweeping the Monday night ratings. AMERICAN NINJA WARRIOR won its two hour block, as BACHELOR IN PARADISE was no competition for the NBC series. RUNNING WILD even saw a nice bump up, week-to-week, growing by a half million viewers and two tenths of a ratings point in both the A18-49 and A25-54 demographics.

The time slot premiere of BACHELOR IN PARADISE did good enough for a solid second place finish, growing from its Sunday night premiere. But compared to THE BACHELORETTE, it is a dramatic drop in the numbers. Week-to-week, the gap is 3.4 million viewers, and about 50% in each of the demographic categories. And, the new BIP: AFTER PARADISE is a non factor. It dropped below SYTYCD, on FOX, and tied a repeat episode of SCORPION, on CBS.

The CW debuted the sitcom, yes a comedy, SIGNIFICANT MOTHER, to so-so numbers. Nine hundred thousand viewers tuned in to see the pilot, which is 14% better than last week's CEDRIC'S BARBER BATTLE. MOTHER even had a better A18-49 demo, a 0.3 vs a 0.2.
