Final Broadcast Ratings: August 16, 2015

CBS sweeps the Sunday night ratings, thanks to overrun coverage of the PGA CHAMPIONSHIP. The golf event posted 6.7 million viewers, a 1.2 rating in the A18-49 demo. The overrun helped boost the numbers of 60 MINUTES, which was up 50% in the A18-49 demographic and a full point in the A25-54.

Although BACHELOR IN PARADISE does better than most encore series episodes, it is not doing relatively well as other new, original content. ABC would be better of giving us a new edition of THE BACHELOR, than the inferior BACHELOR IN PARADISE.

On FOX, the 2015 TEEN CHOICE AWARDS did mostly nothing, again, falling short of drawing three million viewers. The young demo graphics are not to write about as only the Ed Sheeran convert, on NBC, did worse, among new programming. The year-to-year numbers are flat.
