Ratings Review: HAPPYISH (Season One)

I am not sure of Showtime's motives. Instead of trying to find shows that will grab the most viewers, the are finding new series that attract less and less viewers. Currently, I think HAPPYISH is the.. winner?

As you can easily see below, only a little over 200,000 viewers cared to watch the series, each week. The A18-49 demographic ratings is just a 0.1 (rounded up), which translates to about 120,000 viewers in that category.

Of course, the project is doing the best it can. The lead character was original head up by Philip Seymour Hoffman, and would have commanded a bigger audience on his name alone.
