Ratings Review: FOREVER (Season One)

After just three episodes, ABC gave the freshman drama, FOREVER a full season order, for the 2014-15 season. The ratings never matched those firs three episodes and was only pulling about half the audience it did, in the premiere, by the end of the season. I would suspect ABC regretted that decision, at such an early stage of its run.

For the Live+SD ratings, FOREVER averaged 4.63 million viewers and a 1.1 rating in Adults 18-49, over 27 airings, including five encores. Minus the encores, the average only rises to 4.98 million viewers and a slightly better 1.1 demo rating.

In the Live+7 ratings, the total viewership was at an even 8.0 million viewers (+60%) and the A18-49 demo climbed to a 2.0 rating (+82%). it was always near the to of the Live+7 ratings charts.
