Preliminary Broadcast Ratings: Wednesday, 07/22/15

NBC won the Wednesday night network ratings, edging CBS and FOX in all three categories. Its latest season premiere, LAST COMIC STANDING had a decent performance, drawing 6.0 million viewers and a 1.5 rating in Adults 18-49. That is up in viewers, but down in the A18-49 demo, from last season's premiere, on May 22nd.

CBS had the night's top rated show of the evening, as BIG BROTHER won all three age demographics. It was the only program to score above a one in each of those three categories. EXTANT, now at 9 p.m., could not take advantage of the better lead in, posting demo numbers at less than 50% of its lead in. Each number only rose by a tenth of a point, from last week's 10 p.m. airing.

FOX's new reality series, HOME FREE, faired better than KNOCK KNOCK LIVE. It brought in 2.9 million viewers and sub-ones in the A18-34 and A18-49 demographics. It was more on par with BOOM! or BULLSEYE, with its numbers.

ABC and the CW punted, airing nothing but encores.
