Final Broadcast Ratings: July 9, 2015

CBS, on the strength of BIG BROTHER, swept the night in the TV ratings, as the summer reality series posted the night's best numbers. BIG BROTHER was up, week-to-week, with slight gains across the board. UNDER THE DOME was mixed, from the previous week, with viewership down, but thew A18-34 demo was up.

FOX and ABC battled it out for that distant second place finish, with FOX getting the edge in the individual demographic categories, while ABC drew more total viewers. Of the five programs, between the two networks, only WAYWARD PINES was able to post a 1.0 rating, or better, in the A18-49 demographic.

Week two of FOOD FIGHTERS, on NBC, saw slight gains over the premiere. The A18-49 rating rose two tenths of a point, while the A25-54 demo shows a 33% gain. Unfortunately, for NBC, AQUARIUS and HANNIBAL still suck in the ratings, no matter the increase of the 8 p.m. program.

The CW debuted its newest series, DATES, to less than stellar numbers. The dating series aired two episodes, with the second episode losing about 30% of its viewers and half of the A18-34 and A18-49 audiences, from the first episode. However, it still did better than last week's repeat of THE VAMPIRE DIARIES.
